Elite dangerous eagle eye
It stays judder free even in stations!Īt step 2 I chose sweetfx and skipped reshade.Īt step 3 I chose the driver method, but it looked already great without it.Īt step 6 I didn't do anything as I have already overclocked my cpu and the gpu is a pre-tuned 780 with 6 gb vram. This is absolute gold, I cannot stress enough how much of an improvement this was! Elite runs absolutely smooth now with shadows on ultra and 4.0 dsr activated in the nvidia control panel. I found this thread on the elite forums: While my initial experience wasn't quite as bad as you describe it, I liked it so much that I wanted to get the best out of it.
Hey there, I was in pretty much the same boat about 4 days ago when I finally decided to give elite a try with the dk2. Proc: AMD fx-6300 3.50 GHz Six-Core Processor I have trouble focusing on the buildings in front of me, and everything twinkles like stars in the station. Here is a screen shot, I only wish the image was this clear actually inside the rift. I even tried a fix I learned from the Elite forums that had me turn off the power to my rift while in game, which forced the image to my desktop, then exited elite dangerous, and restarted the game client. I have spent two full days hunting for fixes trying to figure out how I can resolve this so I can putt around the galaxy in my eagle. I desperately want to experience this but being inside a station on the docking pad I can barely make out the entrance to the station. I hear people rave about how great the graphics are and once they use it they can't play without it. I now have post on all three forums Elite:Dangerous/AMD/Oculus Rift. Now Elite looks great on my monitor, but no effect on the pixelation issue. I uninstalled Elite Dangerous and deleted all local/roaming files, doing a 'clean' install of the game I uninstalled all the current AMD drivers, and did a fresh install of the Catalyst 14.4 as the sticky suggested. so I found the update and uninstalled it:
I also found that Windows pushed a bad update some time ago that has cause issues, GPU's were affected. The text in game is slightly more readable since I changed the UI color to blue. In the station everything is pixelated blur and I have to rely on the green and red lights to know where the exit is. But when I play elite dangerous the pixelation is so bad that I literally cannot tell one side of a coriolis station from another it just a mess of pixels. Hello, I received my oculus rift yesterday and was able to get it running smoothly.
